Today we visited the second oldest town in Finland, Porvoo. The old town (Vanha Porvoo) has the cutest vintage houses and shops.

After a coffee and Pulla to refuel, we set off to explore the gorgeous houses, and shops.

After walking thru the town, we found a peace forest trail to enjoy some peace and quiet (rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta), some of the most important things in life for Finns.

As much as we tried, pictures just don’t do the views justice:

After the Sun made its token effort at making it to noon today, we wondered back towards town and were privileged to meet one of the locals, Ted (and his buddy Bill that refused to have his photo taken) on an excellent adventure:

After invading Ted’s serenity, we crossed back across Porvoonjoki (lit. Porvoo’s river) to start our long bus ride home.
